Day 1 Arrive Singapore
Arrive in Singapore at any time.
Day 2 Melaka
Melaka is a cultural mosaic - its rich history ever apparent in its unique collection of Islamic mosques, Chinese temples, Portuguese architecture and fascinating museums. Try the local Nyonya cuisine, flavoured with an interesting mix of Chinese and Malay influences.
Day 3-4 Kuala Lumpur
No image calls to mind Kuala Lumpur quite like the awe-inspiring Petronas Towers. Enjoy a half-day tour of the city.
Day 5-6 Cameron Highlands
We head for the Cameron Highlands, one of Malaysia's most famous hill stations surrounded by tea plantations and strawberry fields. The cooler weather is perfect for a relaxing walk through the cloud covered forest.
Day 7-8 Penang
Hire a bicycle rickshaw to meander the streets of Georgetown, soaking up the old Chinese atmosphere. Sample the variety of Chinese, Malay and Indian street foods, explore colourful night markets and catch the funicular railway up Penang Hill for stunning mainland views.
Day 9 Nakhon Si Thammarat
It's a long day of travel into the land of smiles, but well worth it. Watch the famous shadow puppets come to life, walk around the the biggest 'wat' in southern Thailand.
Day 10-12 Ko Samui
Swim and snorkel azure waters to your heart's content, take a cooking class, learn to dive or just lay back under the palms and let the sea breeze wash over you.
Day 13 Overnight train
Some shopping might be on the agenda for this morning before jumping on a ferry and catching the overnight train back to Bangkok.
Day 14 Bangkok
An early arrival into Bangkok leaves plenty of time to get to know this glittering capital, with our hotel offering a perfect base for discovering Khao San Road. Glide through the maze of 'khlongs' on a longtail boat and visit the impressively decorated Wat Pho.
