Day 2 Bangkok
With towering skyscrapers pressed up against Chinese shop-houses and brand new Mercedes squeezing past vendors with pushcarts, Bangkok is a city of contrasts. Explore the sights, while delighting in the dazzling Grand Palace and the city’s countless pagodas, and enjoying some shopping in Bangkok’s malls and open-air markets.
Day 3 Chiang Mai
This northern city has long been a travellers favourite. Enclosed by a moat and crumbling walls, the old city features great cafes and shops. Try the fantastic street food, shop at the eclectic night bazaar, visit any of the hundreds of temples or explore the beautiful surrounding countryside.
Day 4-6 Hilltribe Trek (3B,2L,2D)
Trek through the rolling hills and mountainsides of northern Thailand - home to a vast diversity of ethnic minorities, each with their own culture, traditions, language and costume.
Day 7 Chiang Mai
Return to the enchanting city of Chiang Mai. Sit in on a meditation class at one of the temples or test your culinary skills and join one of the numerous Thai cooking classes.
Day 8-9 Bangkok
Back in Bangkok, jump aboard a longtail boat or a tuk tuk and explore the charismatic mix of markets and temples. Perhaps take in some shopping, recover with a massage then top it off with some tantalizing Thai cuisine.
Day 10-12 Krabi/ Ao Nang
The beaches of Southern Thailand are simply idyllic. Try some adventurous optional activities such as rock climbing or sea kayaking, or, weather permitting, kick back on a longtail boat as it glides between remote beaches for a great day of snorkelling and swimming.
Day 13-14 Penang
The winding streets of Georgetown are best explored by bicycle rickshaw. Check out the colonial architecture of the fort, pop into the colourful Indian quarter and visit lively Chinatown. Afterwards, indulge in a meal at the waterfront night market.
Day 15-16 Cameron Highlands
One of Malaysia's most famous hill stations surrounded by tea plantations and strawberry fields. The cooler weather is perfect for a relaxing walk through the cloud covered forest.
Day 17-18 Kuala Lumpur
Discover KL, Malaysia's premiere city. Stare up at one of the world's tallest buildings, snag a great bargain at the night market, explore the nearby Batu caves and top off your day with the some of the best food in Southeast Asia.
Day 19 Melaka
A historic fusion of Chinese, Indian, Malay and Portugese influences, Melaka remains one of Malaysia's great destinations. With the fascinating Peranakan architecture and newly restored buildings in Jalan Jonka, you enjoy strolling the streets all afternoon. Try a riverboat ride, stop in at the local historical parks, or climb the steps to St Paul's Church.
Day 20 Singapore
Arrive in Singapore around mid day with a free afternoon to visit one of Singapores many attactions. Visit the famous night safari, zoo or Orchard Road.
