Sabah, at the northern tip of Borneo, is a land rich in dense jungle, incredible wildlife and fascinating people. Explore Kota Kinabalu before venturing out to Turtle Islands, where you could be lucky enough to see newly hatched turtles released into the sea. Head back to the main island to visit the “old men of the forest”; the endangered orang-utan, native to this part of the world, to see them in their natural habitat is both a pleasure and a privilege. Journey by boat deeper into Borneo, along its rivers and through swampy mangroves; be ready to encounter friendly locals and more exotic wildlife.

Day 1 Arrive Kota Kinabalu

Arrive in Kota Kinabalu at any time and transfer to hotel.

Day 2 Kinabalu National Park (B,L)

Home to the magnificient Mount Kinabalu, South East Asia's highest mountain. Enjoy a guided tour of this beautiful national Park and soak in the natural splendour of your surroundings.

Day 3 Kinabatangan (B,L,D)

Take a river cruise to see wildlife that lives in this lush area.

Day 4 Selingan Island

This tranquil island comes alive at night as dozens of green turtles come ashore to lay their eggs.

Day 5 Sandakan/Sepilok/Kota Kinabalu (B)

Get up close with the 'Wild Men of Borneo' as you visit the Orang-utan Rehabilitation Sanctuary before flying back to Kota Kinabalu.
