What could be more natural than cycling in a country with more bikes than cars? Ride the traffic-free roads and otherworldly landscapes of the west in Pinar del Rio and Viñales. Thenhead to historical Cienfuegos for some kayaking. Hike the cool Topes de Collantes hills outside World Heritage Trinidad, finish it off with some river kayaking and the famous beaches of Varadero. Experience a view of Cuba that few travellers have seen.

Day 1 Havana

You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 Pinar del Rìo (B,L,D)

Head to Pinar del Rìo this morning for a cycling tour. Your route will allow for several stops, including the ruins of a coffee plantation, a ranch and the San Juan river - where you'll eat lunch and take a swim.

Day 3 Pinar del Rio (B,L,D)

Today your cycling tour will take you through the green Viñales Valley, where you will marvel at the fascinating "mogotes". You'll have a delicious lunch before cycling back to the hotel to relax.

Day 4 Cienfuegos (B,L,D)

This morning you're off to Cienfuegos. You'll have plenty of time to explore this important city.

Day 5 Trinidad/Topes de Collantes (B,L,D)

Today your adventure includes a kayaking session before heading to the historic town of Trinidad for a sightseeing stop. Afterwards continue to Topes de Collantes.

Day 6 Varadero (B,L)

This morning you'll hike the trails in Guanayara Natural Park before stopping for a typical Cuban lunch. Afterwards, make your way to the stunning seaside resort of Varadero.

Day 7 Varadero/Havana (B,L)

Today you'll have another chance to kayak - this time on the beautiful Rio Canimar, where you will also stop for a picnic lunch. Head to Havana this afternoon.

Day 8 Havana (B)

You'll be taken to the airport for your onward flight.
