Delve into legendary Alexandria, Egypt's capital for a millenium and once home to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Wander the Roman amphitheaters, palaces and catacombs of Egypt's gateway to the Mediterranean. Starting from Cairo, spend a day and a half exploring Alexandria's Greek, Roman and Byzantine history, in one of the greatest cities of the Hellenic world.

Day 1 Alexandria

Early transfer from Cairo to the city of Alexandria where you will visit the Roman theatre at Kom El Dikka and the Montazah Summer Palace and gardens.

Day 2 Alexandria (B)

Enjoy a full day tour including key sites; the Fort and Citadel of Qait Bay, said to be built from the stones of the Pharos Lighthouse, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, Pompey's Pillar and the Catacombs of Komel-shokafa.

Day 3 Alexandria - Cairo (B)

Travel back to Cairo and transfer to your hotel (not included) or the airport for your onward travel.
